Let us know your news. If your club our group is feeling happy about a result write a report and we will let the community know. As long as there is no negativity we will get it out there. Start by putting your desired headline in the subject box of your email.
example of what NOT to write:
EKTW 1 BITW 102
"East Kilbride Tiddlywink club were found lacking today at the championship, all players failed to gel as a team and they showed their inexperience. They allowed the opposition to score 102 points. An embarrassing display and the least said the better."
Example of what to write:
EKTW 1 BITW 102
"EK has loads to be proud of today as we managed to score 1 point against the world's best tiddlywink team. Well done to our young side for playing out of their skins and showing promising skills, keep up the hard work. Thank you to all the coaching staff who have helped develop the skills of the team allowing them to play on the world stage"
Every person who takes part in an activity at any level knows when they have had a howler, their coach tells them, their audience tells them, and generally they know themselves and they will use the experience to try better the next time. They do not need for it to be highlighted and reported on especially on a medium, that once said, is pretty much out there in a negative bubble for ever so please look for the good and the positive of what you are reporting on and like the old saying "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say a thing."
